The House Call Process
Arrival & Guidance
A veterinarian and technician arrive at your scheduled time. After introductions and completion of paperwork, we will explain the process clearly so you know exactly what to expect.
Comfort First
Every animal is unique. We administer a pain medication to ensure your pet is comfortable and relaxed, to promote a peaceful transition.
Your Space & Time
We provide a calm, private space for you to share your final goodbyes. You choose whether you wish to be present, and you are welcome to hold your pet throughout.
Preparing Your Household
Children: We recommend deciding in advance if you would like children to be present, allowing you to prepare them or make comforting arrangements beforehand.
Other Household Pets: Your other animals are welcome to be part of this transition. If you worry their presence might add stress, they can remain in another room and be brought in afterward to view their companion and say their own quiet goodbye.
